Close sources to the Pastor told Nigeriafilms.com then that Pastor Wole also warned D'Banj not to join illuminati or else, he would land in hell fire. Weeks after the prayer, a picture has emerged online where D'Banj was captured praying fervently like a prayer warrior. His mother and the pastor joined in the prayer. Who says D'Banj is not a prayer warrior?

Earlier this year, Kristen Stewart was named the face of Balenciaga's perfume Florabotanica and the fashion house just released a striking new ad in Spanish Elle magazine featuring the Twilight starlet.

The simplistic ad features Stewart striking a fierce pose in a black and white striped top with tousled hair.

Don't be surprised that the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton is going to help Prince Harry get over his long-term love Chelsy Davy and according to reports she is throwing all her energy into it even enlisting the help of the female royals to find the perfect match for lonely Harry.

The 27 year-old is said to be “serious” about settling down and is hoping that his new sister-in-law can be the one to help him finally snag a princess of his own. Kate is reportedly joining forces with Zara Phillips and Princess Beatrice to look for a potential love match and is taking her new role as royal match maker pretty seriously.

“She's planning to sit down with Bea and Zara to go through a list of people they know to see who might be a good fit for Harry,” an insider told Now magazine.

“If he was the kind of guy that didn't care and wanted to play the field, then Kate wouldn't be putting so much effort into it. “But he's serious about settling down.”

Earlier this year in an interview with US TV Harry admitted that finding someone to date was harder than most people expected. He might be the most eligible bachelor on the planet with women throwing themselves at his feet, (Cheryl Cole) but as a royal he can't marry just anyone.

He admitted: “I mean, look at me, I'm 27 and not so much searching for someone to fulfil the role, but trying to find someone willing to take it on.”

John Mayer and Katy Perry split: ‘She is really upset,’ says source

Katy Perry is “falling from Cloud 9” once again. Just two months into a relationship with John Mayer, he has reportedly called things off with the “Wide Awake” singer – and she’s heartbroken. According to a source, Perry is “really upset about it,” even though she is also trying to downplay the seriousness of the summer romance.

But just because things have cooled down between the two, it doesn't mean that Perry, 27, and Mayer, 34, can't end up as friends.

The split went down some time before an August 21 dinner party the two attended – albeit, separately – at a mutual friend’s home. According to Radar Online, the two singers completely ignored each other the entire evening and even went as far as to stay in different rooms throughout the soiree. “When they passed each other they both just kept their heads down,” an eyewitness tells the site. “It was like they had this incredible animosity for each other and everyone else at the party could feel it.”

Perry joins a long list of famous hearts broken by Mayer including her own pal Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

I want to win Goldie’s love back – Prezzo

The last has definitely not been heard about the Prezzo-Goldie love affair that kept viewers entertained during their stay in the recently concluded Big Brother Reality TV Show.

This is because Prezzo, who emerged the first runner-up in the competition, is in Nigeria to win back the hand of his love interest, Goldie. The 32-year -old Kenyan rap artiste made his intention known at a press conference held on Wednesday at The Place, Ikeja, Lagos.

Garbed in a flowing cream-coloured Agbada, a remorseful Prezzo said he travelled all the way from his native country to apologise and propose to Goldie, if she gives him an opportunity.

He said, “I went into the house with the mind to make my country proud and make the money. But along the line, I developed feelings for Goldie and I still do up till now as I speak. We have not spoken together as I speak. So, I am here to get a hold of her and apologise.

 Ever since the show ended, I have not been the same as I have been thinking about her (Goldie). I just want her to give me just 30 minutes and pray she answers my call, because I feel everything happens for a reason. There were a couple of ladies in the house, but my mind chose her. Goldie and I are on the same path that is why we flowed together.”

Prezzo also claimed that all through his stay in the house, his intentions towards Goldie was not hidden. According to him, he had informed Big Brother of his affections, hence his visit to Nigeria is not a ploy to build a fan base here.

“I was not playing games with Goldie. The most important thing as far as I am concerned is what happens outside the house when the cameras are off and not inside the house is what matters. I am here just for Goldie and not to build a fan base in Nigeria. I want Goldie to give this Maasai Warrior one more chance. 

Honestly, the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. Once Goldie picks her call we can pick it up from there because I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I know it is not easy to convince Goldie but I love her and I know the feeling is mutual.”

Prezzo, who will be performing alongside Jay Z in a show to hold in the U.S later in the month, confirmed the fact that he was once married but has since parted ways with his former wife.

“No married man with his right senses will go into the Big Brother House. I was once married but we have been separated for two and a half years now but we have a beautiful daughter together. My divorce is an ongoing process. We don’t live together any longer. My ex wife knows that our relationship cannot work. 

So, there is no string attached as far as we are both concerned. It didn’t work out so we went our separate ways.

“For anyone who feels I offended them while I was in the competition, I ask for their forgiveness. Remember the house can bring out the best or worst from anybody. I have a mother, sister and daughter. So, I am really sorry,” he says.

However, when a fan on Twitter asked if it was true that Prezzo was in town, her response was more of ‘poetry’ than prose. She said, “I also heard the Pope is Catholic. Is it true?”

I guess if Goldie should give this guy another chance,he is not going to waste it.He is a sweet guy!

Jim Iyke apologizes to Linda

Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, has finally apologised to blogger, Linda Ikeji, days after a tweet fight began when he accused Ikeji of publishing an image of him eating roasted corn in Amsterdam, Holland.

Although this will be the second time in three months that the former model and blogger will be coming under attack from a celebrity as a result of stories published on her blog, thankfully, this time she seems innocent.

The picture in question was not published on her blog but on another that bears a close resemblance in name to hers. But long before Iyke realised that it was just a case of mistaken identity he tweeted a series of venom targeted at Ikeji.

He started off saying, ‘F#*k off lady! I’m not even gonna pretend to be a gentleman about this. U can play the victim all u want but I don’t give a rat ass, period.”

In response, Ikeji retorted, “You are just attacking me for no reason. You sure you are alright?”

Many tweets after and having realised his mistake, the actor waved the olive branch by tweeting an apology to Ikeji, “Apologies Linda. My vitriol on you was a genuine error as I misread the handle. Hope you will borrow a leaf from my apology based on your antecedent attacks,” he said.

Still feeling every inch guilty, Iyke later tweeted, “Apologies to my fans. I am man enough to admit when I am wrong. It was easy to misconstrue given her many unsubstantiated antecedents. God bless.”

The businesswoman and former model, is celebrated in the article ‘Beauty, Brains and the Business of Blogging’, as the August edition recognises the struggle for women in business.

“This edition also includes the Forbes list of Africa’s most prominent women as well as interviews and inspirational stories of some of the continent’s most powerful woman to date.” the managing editor of Forbes Africa Chris Bishop said.
