I’m not ready for marriage yet –Denrele

 

Denrele Edun is looking forward to his birthday, which comes up on June 13. But if his numerous fans across the country expect him to spring a surprise on that day, especially as regards marriage, they had better think again.

The erstwhile Soundcity presenter will not be showing off his fiancée or announcing his wedding date. He made this known to LIFE & BEAT recently.

He said, “I’ve not achieved my goals yet. I’m still young. And to admit the truth, I’m too scared of the commitment of rushing into marriage right now.”

Describing himself as a ladies’ man, Denrele said his dream wife had to have striking physical qualities and refined manners.

He said, “My dream girl has just got to have a flat tummy, long legs, and a slim figure. I need a woman who will like me for who I am: a weirdo, and not try to change me because she will never succeed.

“She must be neat, the type that wears clean underwear. Above all, she must be ready to wear high heeled shoes all the time like me.

“I think it is one of the sexiest attributes a lady can have. The woman I will say, ‘Yes, I do’ to must not be afraid to flaunt her sexuality. I mean, if a man doesn’t look at my lady, there is something wrong somewhere. So, she must be a head turner.”

He says that his ideal woman should be able to cook because he likes good food. “Importantly, the lady that I will give the wedding ring should have a wild streak because I wake up every morning with a loud shout. I expect my ideal woman to do same. I like my woman to have a reading habit. She must be in love with books and she should be able to talk because I’m a chatterbox (laughs).”
